Jason Vaters

Jason Vaters, BSc UXC

Principle UX Consultant

Jason has over 15 years of experience developing wireframes, prototypes and conducting analysis for large and small software projects. His work has allowed him to collaborate internationally with teams in North America, Europe, India, Russia and Asia.

 

Prior to founding Objective, Jason led the standardization and adoption of usability guidelines and standardized components for a London-based FTSE 100 company. In 2015, Jason acquired a User Experience Certification from Nielsen Norman Group, a world leader in user experience. He went on to obtain a specialization in Interaction Design, becoming the 5th individual in Canada to receive such a designation. Jason also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Memorial University and a UX Design Professional Certificate from Google.

 

Jason has been privileged to study usability principles under Bruce Tognazzini, author of eight editions of the Apple Human-Computer Guidelines and former lead designer of WebMD.
